Show your love for trees
this Valentine’s Day
Valentines are no longer just for people!
(The Lorax would wholeheartedly agree.)
This Valentine’s Day, the Avon Woods Arboretum invites you to show your love for trees by sharing a “Happy Valentine” to your favorite tree or to the Avon Woods canopy of trees.
- Take a photo of:
- A tree,
- A group of trees, or
- You or you and friends/family with a tree.
- Or, draw a picture of:
- A tree or trees, or
- You or you and friends/family with a tree.
- Or, write a poem:
- About a tree(s),
- To a tree, or
- To our whole Avon Woods tree canopy.
We welcome all — young and old, artists and observers — to send your Valentines celebrating the trees! Submit your photo, drawing or poem (feel free to submit more than one) no later than Friday, Feb. 12, to be published on the Avon Woods Arboretum website on Valentine’s Day.
