Once again, we look back at the close of another Avon Woods Food Truck Social season. We enjoyed gathering with friends and neighbors for Good Groceries, El Mero Taco, Soi Number 9 and, of course, Mr Joe Ivey’s Ice Cream! PLUS, we marked our second National Night Out event when Avon Park was filled with neighbors, Neighborhood Watch Block Captains and representatives from Memphis Police Department’s Tillman Station and Memphis Fire Department’s Station #21. Many thanks to Derrick Von Stein for coordinating all the food trucks, Mary K Allen for heroically leading our Neighborhood Watch, and a special shoutout to Amanda Von Stein, who hand-letters all the yard signs to get out the word for each event.
