Join us Thursday, June 5 at 6:30pm for second quarter meeting of Avon Woods Neighborhood Watch at Independent Presbyterian Church.

- Area Crime Report: Learn about crime incidents reported by Avon Woods block captains, block captain coverage and opportunities.
- MPD Crime Prevention Grant: Update on how we’re using the $2500 grant from MPD.
- Community Voices Session: A structured brainstorming session allowing you to voice your concerns, ideas and suggestions.
- Upcoming Events: Be among the first to hear of upcoming neighborhood events, including plans for our Annual Fourth of July Parade and Picnic, National Night Out and Q3 Neighborhood Watch Meeting.
- FREE Gift: If you haven’t got yours yet, Avon Woods “Useful Numbers” refrigerator magnets will be distributed courtesy of Avon Woods Neighborhood Association.

Neighborhood Watch is a crime prevention program that enlists the participation of residents in cooperation with the Memphis Police Department to reduce crime, improve the quality of life, and establish a sense of well-being by watching out for one another in our area. The Neighborhood Watch Program is a highly successful effort and proven deterrent to crime that has been in existence for more than 50 years in cities and counties across America — and several neighborhoods throughout Memphis.
