Our second meeting for organizing an Avon Woods Neighborhood Watch will take place Thursday, April 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Avon Lenox School.

In this meeting, we will:

  • Align on our top neighborhood concerns.
  • Discuss how we would like to organize.
  • Determine meeting cadence and communication preferences.
  • Identify volunteer needs, such as street captains, communications, etc.

This is your Avon Woods Neighborhood Watch. Come and let your voice be heard.

Neighborhood Watch is a crime prevention program that enlists the participation of residents in cooperation with the Memphis Police Department to reduce crime, improve the quality of life, and establish a sense of well-being by watching out for one another in our area. The Neighborhood Watch Program is a highly successful effort and proven deterrent to crime that has been in existence for more than 50 years in cities and counties across America — and several neighborhoods throughout Memphis. There is no cost to join.

Help spread the news. Post a link to this page on social media, email or text the link to your neighbors.
