Fourth of July Parade 2024
July 4 @ 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Celebrate Independence Day with your Avon Woods neighbors! We will gather at 9:30am in front of Avon School and begin the parade around the neighborhood at 10am. Join the parade! Families, children, dogs (on leashes, please), antique cars, strollers, and bicycles/tricycles are invited to join — decked out in our best Yankee Doodle Dandy decorations! Come and enjoy:
- Music
- Post-parade hot dogs, chips and bottled water
- Post-parade bouncy house inflatable (until approx. 1pm)
- Memphis Fire Department fire truck – with water spray to cool off!
- Hook Point Brewery – offering samples of their new Original Glory beer
- Mr. Joe’s Ice Cream ($3-5 per treat)
- Avon Woods Neighborhood Association information table

Become a Member — This is when we encourage folks to renew their Avon Wood Neighborhood commitment. Your dues help fund neighborhood communications (like this website!) and events throughout the year.
