SUMMARY:Neighborhood Watch Special Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Join Memphis attorney Katina Gaines for an informative conversation about wills\, healthcare directives\, powers of attorney and protecting your family’s future.\n\n\n\nLooking out for one another is what Avon Woods Neighborhood Watch is all about. We work together to protect our homes\, keep our streets safe and care for the people who make our neighborhood such a special place to live. \n\n\n\nBut protecting what matters most goes beyond crime prevention. It also means making sure our families are prepared for the unexpected. \n\n\n\nAt our next quarterly Neighborhood Watch meeting\, we’ll welcome Memphis estate planning attorney Katina Gaines for an informative conversation about the legal documents and decisions that can help protect our homes\, our families and our wishes. \n\n\n\nWhat we’ll discuss:\n\n\n\n\nWills and Estate Planning: What happens to your property if you die without a will?\n\n\n\nLiving Wills and Healthcare Directives: Who makes medical decisions if you’re unable to speak for yourself?\n\n\n\nDurable Powers of Attorney: Who can manage your finances if you become incapacitated?\n\n\n\nProtecting Your Home and Family: How can advance planning help your loved ones avoid unnecessary legal complications?\n\n\n\nMaking Your Wishes Known: What steps can you take today to prepare for tomorrow?\n\n\n\n\nMeet Our Guest Speaker\n\n\n\nKatina Gaines is a seasoned Memphis attorney and graduate of the University of Memphis School of Law. Her practice\, Gaines & Associates\, PLLC\, focuses on estate planning for estates large and small\, trust and probate administration\, and wealth transfer planning. \n\n\n\nKatina is the personal estate planning attorney of Neighborhood Watch leader Mary K Allen and has generously agreed to share her knowledge with our neighbors. \n\n\n\nPlease Join Us!\n\n\n\nWhether you’re a longtime homeowner\, raising a family or helping care for aging parents\, this conversation offers valuable information for adults of all ages. \n\n\n\nThis is a free educational presentation—not a sales seminar. You’ll have an opportunity to learn\, ask questions and better understand the decisions that can help protect what matters most. \n\n\n\nHelp spread the news. Post a link to this page on social media\, email or text the link to your neighbors. \n\n\n\nNew Location\n\n\n\nThe gracious folks at Memphis Bible Church have generously offered their fellowship hall — centrally located at 262 N. Perkins Rd. (formerly Evangel Church) — for our Neighborhood Watch meetings!
