DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Independence Day with your Avon Woods neighbors! We will gather at 9:30am in front of Avon School and begin the parade around the neighborhood at 10am. Join the parade! Families\, children\, dogs (on leashes\, please)\, antique cars\, strollers\, and bicycles/tricycles are invited to join — decked out in our best Yankee Doodle Dandy decorations! Come and enjoy: \n\nMusic\nPost-parade hot dogs\, chips and bottled water\nPost-parade bouncy house inflatable (until approx. 1pm)\nMemphis Fire Department fire truck – with water spray to cool off!\nHook Point Brewery – offering samples of their new Original Glory beer\nMr. Joe’s Ice Cream ($3-5 per treat)\nAvon Woods Neighborhood Association information table\n\nNew This Year\nShow your Avon Woods pride with Avon Woods branded merchandise\, including special Fourth of July Parade & Picnic t-shirts. View the Fourth of July collection\, and order by Monday\, June 24\, for standard delivery by July 4. (Expedited delivery available if you miss the cut-off date.) \n \nPay Your Annual Dues\nBecome a Member — This is when we encourage folks to renew their Avon Wood Neighborhood commitment.
