You’re invited — to help keep Avon Woods safe! Join us for this year’s first quarterly meeting of Avon Woods Neighborhood Watch, Thursday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m. at Independent Presbyterian Church.

- MPD Crime Prevention Grant: Learn about the $2,500 grant we were awarded and how it will be used.
- Area Crime Report: Learn about crime incidents reported by Avon Woods block captains, block captain coverage and opportunities.
- Memphis Police Department: Guidance from representatives of MPD Appling Farms Precinct
- A Look Ahead: Learn about key dates in 2025 for Avon Woods.
- FREE Gift: Avon Woods “Useful Numbers” refrigerator magnets will be distributed courtesy of Avon Woods Neighborhood Association.

Neighborhood Watch is a crime prevention program that enlists the participation of residents in cooperation with the Memphis Police Department to reduce crime, improve the quality of life, and establish a sense of well-being by watching out for one another in our area. The Neighborhood Watch Program is a highly successful effort and proven deterrent to crime that has been in existence for more than 50 years in cities and counties across America — and several neighborhoods throughout Memphis.

DIRECTIONS: Enter Independent Presbyterian parking lot via gate on Walnut Grove Road. Enter building main entrance. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall, through the front lobby and to your left.
